San Francisco 49ers’ Katie Sowers becomes 1st female and 1st openly gay coach in Super Bowl history
Katie Sowers is the first woman, and person of the LGBTQ community to coach a team competing in the Super Bowl. Sowers played football for over eight years. She offers a unique perspective to the game, making her an incredible coach. Her story displays how women all over the country can do what seems to be impossible.
