I have seen this iconic picture before, and I have always loved it. This article introduced Katherine Switzer, and what lead her to the Boston Marathon. Switzer had no intention of making history, it was never her goal to be the first woman to finish the Boston Marathon. She simply loved to run, and wanted to accomplish something that she trained hard for. This story shows how one woman following her dreams, can create a movement of women who do things that have never been done before.
